Manawatu Karate Champs

USKU students were well represented at the Manawatu Karate Champs at St Peters College on the 23rd of November. There were some outstanding results, and everyone that competed in kata, kumite or both should be very proud of their results. The USKU participants results are as follows;

6-8yrs Boys Kata:
1st – Nikora Greening

8-11yrs Girls Development Kata:
1st – Rosalia Siu

9-10yrs Boys Intermediate Kata:
2nd – Manaia Greening

12-14yrs Girls Premier Kata:
2nd – Jaqueline Siu
3rd = Lily Griffin & Paige Angus

13-17yrs Boys Premier Kata:
3rd = Reif Dawson & Sam Siggs

Team Kata
2nd – USKU Boys – Rief Dawson, Sam Siggs & Dominic Griffin (they were only 0.4 points behind the 1st place team)
3rd – USKU Girls – Paige Angus, Jaqueline Siu & Lily Griffin
